The Holy Qur`an

‘Surely, Allah has purchased of the believers their persons and their property in return for the Garden they shall

have; they fight in the cause of Allah, and they slay and are slain — a promise that He has made incumbent on Himself in the Torah, and the Gospel, and the Qur’an. And who is more faithful to his promise than Allah? Rejoice, then, in

your bargain which you have made with Him; and that it is which is the supreme triumph.’

Hadīth Nabwi sa

Hadrat Ibn `Abbasra narrates that:

The Holy Prophetsa said on the day of the Conquest of Mecca:

“There is no migration (after the Conquest), but to strive in the cause of Allah with good

intentions, and when you are called for striving in the cause of Allah, you should

immediately respond to the call.”

“Truthwillprevail.AnewbrightdaywilldawnagainforIslam.Sameasitdidbefore.ThesunofIslamwillriseinfullbloom,sameasitdidbefore.Butthiswillnotbeatonce.Imperativeitisthatthisshouldnothappenuntilwehaveprovedourworthbydevotedhardwork, byofferingour life-blood, by sacrificingour rest andpeace,byacceptingallindignitiesforthedignityofIslam.ThenewLifeofIslamdemandsagreatSacrificefromus.WhatisthisSacrifice?Itisour lives:on this Sacrificedependsnow the Lifeof Islam, the LifeofMussalmans,theManifestationofGodinourtime.SacrificeisoftheessenceofIslam.AndthisistheIslamthatGodwantstorestore.Tobringaboutthisgreattransformation,itwasnecessarythatGodHimself shouldestablishaworkshop,adequateandefficient inallrespects. So,He theMostWise,Most Powerful, let thisworkshopcomeintobeingbysendingthishumbleonetoundertakethisworkofreformingmankind.”

Guidance from Khulafa-e-AhmadiyyatHadrat Khalifatul Massih V aa says:

“Theeighthcondition,concerninggivingpreferencetoreligionoverworldlyaffairs requires, thatoneshall sacrificeeverything—life,wealth,honour.With thegraceofAllahtheAlmightyweseescenesofgivingpreferencetofaithovertheworld,intheAhmadiyyaCommunity.Mothersareofferingtheirchildren.FollowinginthefootstepsofHadratIbrahimas,fathersbringtheirchildrensayingthatnowtheybelongtotheJama‘atandtheJama‘atappointthemanywhereitwishes.ChildrenareofferingthemselvesontheirownsayingthattheytooarereadylikeHadratIsma`ilastooffertheirlives!Suchmarvelousdisplaysexistedinthepastandtheystillexisttoday.Iwillgiveyouanexample:In1923whentheHindusstartedtheShudhicampaign(towintheMuslimconvertsbacktoHinduism),tocounterittheAhmadichildrendidnotremainbehindtheeldersinofferingtheirservices.EvenfiveyearsoldchildrenwerereadytogotoMalkanaandvicinity.Atwelveyearsoldboywrotetohisfatherthattoservethetruereligionwasnotonlyforthegrown-ups,itwasalsofortheyoungones!Heaskedhisfathertotakehimalongwhenhewasgoingforpreaching,andevenifhewasnotgoing,hemustsendhim! Theseincidentsarenotmerelystoriesofthepast.AsIsaid,evennowweseesuchdisplaysof sacrifices.When theWaqifinNauchildrencome toseemeand Iaskthemwhattheywouldliketobecomeongrowingup,theirresponseisthattheywouldbecomewhateverItellthemandlettheJama`attellthemwhatitwantsthemtobecome!ThisistheenthusiasmofAhmadichild.Aslongasthispassionremains,(andInsha`AllahitshallremaintotheLastDay),noonecanhurttheJama`atintheleast!”

`Ashra Mal: Insha`Allah, `Ashra Mal is starting from January 15th - 24th, 2010. Nazimeen Atfal are humbly requested to complete the given target of collecting Chanda Ijtima` 100%. Please use these days in letter and spirit to plan out ways and means to accomplish this task. Besides that, inculcate the importance of financial sacrifice (Mal) to Atfal and kindly report in detail your status of Mal Department after completion of the `Ashra to National Markaz. The flyer of the `Ashra Mal is attached with this newsletter for reference.

Ijlas `Aam: Nazimeen Atfal are humbly requested to hold Ijlas `Aam on regular basis. To assist the Nazimeen in this regard, National Markaz has prepared an exemplary Ijlas-e-`Aam package to guide the Nazimeen about the pattern and structure of conducting such an event. For any further assistance/questions, please contact department of `Umumi of MAAC.

Atfal Monthly Report: The reporting structure has great value and importance in the organizational system of the Jama`at. Nazimeen Atfal are humbly requested not to delay especially submitting their Monthly Reports. Furthermore, please also focus on completing all asked questions and figures with accurate information. The Saiqeen system and Local Atfal `Amila should utilize to construct the report.

1. to offer 5 times daily prayer2. recite the Holy Qur`an daily3. write letter to Hudur Anwaraa

4. watch MTA, especially children’s class with Hudur Anwaraa

Atfal attended the event with great enthusiasm and learned from the various intellectual andeducationalactivitiescomprising thewholeprogram.Themainthemethisyearaccordingtowhichallitemsof thecampwereadjustedwas“TheHolyQur`an”.PresentationsweredesignedinaformwhichcouldbeeasilyunderstoodandcomprehendedbytheAtfal.Moreover,thecampfunctionedmainlyasaforumwhereAtfalfromtheirearlyagearemadefamiliarwiththetraditionsof theJama`atandeducatedaboutthebasicteachingsof IslamandAhmadiyyat.Furthermore,throughouttheprogram,Atfalhadtheopportunitytoaskquestionstothepresentersandtherebyincreasetheiroverallreligiousknowledge.
