Welcome to @ the Library. As Vaughan Public Libraries moves forward with theimplementation of our four year Strategic Plan entitled Empower People, Inspire

Opportunities, Build Community, VPL is working on implementing the following threeobjectives in 2012:

1) Collaborate with the community to ensure that library services meet the needs of Vaughan citizens.2) Incorporate new technologies to support and enhance library service and digital literacy.3) Plan and construct new library facilities in accordance with growth and demand that achieve

excellence in library architecture and interior design and improve accessibility.

We have many interesting initiatives to address these objectives. We are confident that through these initiatives we will gain new insights into ways to enhance the services we deliver and continue to "offer

welcoming destinations that educate, excite and empower our community". I hope that you will find manyexciting programs enclosed, and we look forward to seeing you @ the library.
