A NEW SEASON, A NEW NAME...

ALL THAT’S MISSING IS YOU.To reflect our organization’s mission to enrich the lives of our community, our ever-expanding artistic growth and excellence, and as a reflection of the tremendous richness of diversity of our ensemble, Atlanta Sacred Chorale has chosen a new name. Beginning this upcoming season, we will be known as the Atlanta Master Chorale! Although our name has changed, our tagline will remain the same: “where music touches spirit”. This phrase captures our core values, our choral aesthetic and our vision for the future. We hope you will join us on our exciting journey forward!

“It was the best of times, it was the…best of times.” Last season was one of the most extraordinary in our history. It was a year of amazing music making, virtuosic artistry, and profound beauty. It was a season of growth and aspiration supported by sold-out audiences in Emory’s beautiful Schwartz Center. It brought us a new CD, a redesigned website, and national recognition—the “Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence” presented to us by Chorus America. We begin this season with a new name but with the same mission, to “enrich and inspire” and to explore those places “where music touches spirit.” As Atlanta Master Chorale, we will continue to reach for excellence, to seek after beauty, and to engage our community.
