NEHS Announces 2019-2020 Officers

CONGRATULATIONS to the following students: Leo C. – President Mikey W. – Vice President Anna A. – Secretary Isabella N. – Historian

The Bloom Project/Cocoa Nursery work to beautify Atlantis NEHS would like to thank two very special groups for helping to beautify our campus, The Bloom Project and Cocoa Nursery. The Bloom Project is a very special group of Atlantis students that chose to take their service through NEHS a step further. They adopted a median between the 300 and 400 buildings after one of our campus clean-ups. Sammy Jo S, Alise L, Isabel S, and Kylie U reached out to local home improve-ment stores and nurseries to request donations to help. The girls organized work sessions both before and after school. The owners of Cocoa Nursery are Atlantis parents and donated enough plants to fill three me-dians!! Thank you again to The Bloom Project, Cocoa Nursery, and NEHS for taking this initiative!

Thank you Area Businesses and Volunteers! With much appreciation we say thank you to the following businesses who so generously donated items for Staff Appreciation Week: Belk, Best Western Cocoa Beach, Bok Tower Gardens, Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science, Brevard Zoo, Country Cookin’ Diner, Crest Cleaners, Dixie Crossroads, Dogs R Us, el Leoncito Mexican & Cuban Restaurant, Fairfield Inn-Titusville, Fish Lips Waterfront Bar & Grill, Florida Seafood Bar & Grill, Flying Fish Café, Mutter Real Estate, Quality Inn & Suites Cocoa Beach, River Lanes Family Entertainment Center, Robin’s Styles Unlimited, Running Zone, Rusty’s Seafood; Serenity Massage & Salon, Shiloh’s Restaurant, Sunshine Health Foods, Target, The Resort on Cocoa Beach, Time Out Sports Bar , VA Paving, and Walmart. We would also like to thank the following individuals for their donations– Dawn Niehoff, Jenny Clark, Joan Caracciolo, Matt Yount, Stacey Yount, Yvonne Perrone, Shereen Fiorito and Tiphanie Bissland. You helped to make the week a very special one for our teachers and staff members. Our school based volunteers and PTO members pulled everything together and created a wonderful lunch-eon for all staff. Their selfless dedication to our students and school make so many things possible. We can not express enough how much we appreciate each one of you!!

Also, please pick up all medications and nebulizer equipment by noon on the last day of school. All left over medications will be disposed of that day.

Thank you and have a happy, healthy, and safe summer!
