Last year’s conference received excellent reviews, which reflected well not only on Atlanta, and our
organizers and presenters, but also on our sponsors who were front and center to the world in general and
the international arbitration community in particular. Our sponsors get global exposure to those who
attend the conference and to the many more who receive other information and messages about the
conference from leading global institutions and organizations who cooperate with AtlAS on the
conference:
AtlAS’ seven previous Conferences have featured more than 160 speakers from six continents,
and more than ten leading arbitration centers and institutions in the region and throughout the
world have supported the event.
This program promises to make news with its exploration of emerging and enduring trends
pertaining to the future of international commercial dispute resolution.
This year’s program will be held at the Atlanta Center for International Arbitration and Mediation
(ACIAM) in the two days immediately preceding the Congress of the Chartered Institute of
Arbitrators (CIArb).
o The Congress is being held for the first time EVER in the Americas for the first time in
that organization’s 102 year history and Atlanta was selected in a competitive process.
The Congress is a closed-door event, however it is anticipated that the delegates to
Congress will be attending this event and others scheduled at the time of this conference.
o The CIArb is an international centre of excellence for the practice and profession of
alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Its growing membership of 15,000 is based across
133 countries and supported by an international network of 39 branches.
Why sponsor this conference?
1) Directed mailing list
AtlAS maintains, and continues to grow, a confidential and proprietary database of over 5,700
active, current and valid e-mail addresses of persons and entities involved in international business
and/or dispute resolution worldwide, which is being continuously freshened and maintained. The
list includes business-people, in-house counsel, advocates and neutrals. The list was compiled by
a third party based on confidential contributions by AtlAS members, and a significant number of
the addressees are those with which AtlAS members have longstanding relationships. Many of the
e-mails are read instead of being disposed of as spam.
The email campaign for this conference will contain no less than ten (10) electronic mailings.
Addressees will receive targeted mailings of this AtlAS conference, and will have visibility to
conference sponsors. Some statistics:
No less than ten 10 targeted mailings prior to conference opening,
47 total mailings over the past 3 years, with an open rate of approximately 20%
Historically, 55% of email opens are on desktop, 45% on mobile devices
2) Website Reach:
Visitors to the AtlAS website are from more than 105 countries, from Afghanistan to Yemen
(please see attached list). This includes viewers involved in the world’s busiest arbitration venues
such as London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Stockholm, Geneva, Stockholm, Atlanta,
New York, Miami, Houston, Vancouver, and more.
After the conference is over, the website will continue to post the brochure, containing sponsor
branding, for a reasonable time.
3) Viral dissemination through an “A list” of cooperating entities
AtlAS works with most of the world’s leading institutions and organizations in global dispute
resolution to publicize the AtlAS conference to their respective memberships. Postings by
cooperating entities include the AAA/ICDR, CPR Institute, the International Centre for Dispute
Resolution, the International Chamber of Commerce, Global Atlanta, the Mayor of Atlanta’s
Office of International Affairs, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, JAMS, the New York
International Arbitration Society and the Vienna International Arbitral Centre.
Visibility of a sponsor’s brand through these organizations increases the potential value of a
sponsorship.
4) Leverage through social media including —Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
5) Global draw and exposure
AtlAS has developed over the years an enviable reputation for treatment of salient topics in the
field of international commercial arbitration, delivered by dynamic, renowned, world class
speakers. It has become a must-go, or certainly a must-see event. As a consequence global
interest is high, giving sponsors excellent exposure.
6) On site recognition
The conference brochure will feature the logos of the sponsors which will be prominently
displayed on a giant screen in the auditorium throughout the event and included in other marketing
materials.
Add-On sponsorships will be featured in the form of memorabilia and postings during the event to
which they apply.
