I understand that there are inherent risks in participating in a program of strenuous exercise, up to and including death. I understand that part of the risk involved in understanding any activity program is relative to my own state of health (physical, mental, emotional) and to the awareness, care, and skill with which I conduct my elf in the activity or program. I understand that my choice to participate in any of these programs brings with it my assumption of those risks and results stemming from this choice. Attend ONE or ALL! Styles can often be divided into “Hard” or “Soft” styles. Long Fist is generally more hard while Taijiquan is more soft. As a Hard/Soft style, White Crane is able to work with both sides of the spectrum, aiding you in deepening the feeling and knowledge for the other two styles. Both Hard & Soft qigong exercises will be introduced & practiced as solo & partner drills. 10:15 am to 12:15 pm on: Saturday, July 21 Saturday, July 28 Great for both Kung Fu (Teens & Adults) & Taiji students! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Peng Lu Ji An Put together, they form the internationally practiced routine Peng Lu Ji An. The movements are continuous, cyclic patterns performed at constant speed with light contact. Learning this routine will greatly increase your knowledge of pushing hands as well as aid in body conditioning, sensitivity, and applying techniques when working with a partner. 11 am to 1 pm on: Sunday, July 22 Sunday, August 5 Each workshop will cover different topics on each date and can be progressive. Two - 2 hour workshops: Staff is the first weapon taught within the Y.M.A.A. Shaolin curriculum. This class will cover drills from both White Crane, Long Fist as well as Taijiquan. Both solo and partner drills will be introduced.
