Lot 108. Moonee Valley Aerated Water Corker with Horse and Rider trade mark.Every now and then an item comes along that gets everyone talking! This is one of those items. Prior to this surfacing, nobody had even seen a piece of one of these! A superb rarity, the only known example at this stage, this truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity. From the iconic Moonee Valley Aerated Water Company, this particular piece was made by the Melbourne Glass Bottle Company and would date to the 1880s-1890s. Bearing the fabulous horse and rider trade mark, those specialising in Moonee Valley bottles (for which there are several of us), and collectors of aerated waters in general will love to own such an item. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. The grading in full is as follows:Good. 13 x 5 mm sliver type flake to upper lip. Couple of other spots of wear to lip. Nibbled flake over about 8 x 10 mm at front base edge. Stained throughout. Scuffs and scratches throughout with plenty of fisheyes and impact marks. Dark scratch to base edge. A few pitted marks. Great heavy embossing, there is some wear to it in places.

Lot 369. C. E. Clare, Maclean all tan champagne shape ginger beer.In excellent condition, this is quite a remarkable bottle in a skinny small size. Also about as good an example as you could hope to see. From northern New South Wales, these are very rare indeed, you would go a long time before seeing a better example than this one.

Lot 385. Thomas McVeigh, Young blue print two tone champagne shape ginger beer.Another great ginger beer in excellent con-dition. A rare bottle, this is the first we can recall being for sale for some time. A great looking country New South Wales bottle with the blue print, it is likely that you will not get another opportunity to purchase another of these in the near future.
