Combine bids at your table to claim one of tonight’s delectable desserts. The table with the highest bid gets first chance to dash to the dessert table! Bid high to be the first table called and run fast to get your favorite dessert because the next table number will be called quickly – this is why it’s called a DASH!

This is how it’s done . . .

1. Fill out the “Dessert Dash Bidders Card” at your table •Each person at the table enters their individual bid number and amount. This amount will be added to your receipt at the end of the night. Cash is also welcome – just enter “cash” and the amount in the bidder spot and put your money in the envelope. •Tally up the bids and put the table’s total at the bottom. A runner will collect the envelope.

2. Pick one person from your group to be the “Dessert Dasher” and review the list of desserts to make your selection. 3. The Auctioneer will tell you when it is time to Dash. •The table with the highest total bid will go first. Seconds later, the next highest table will be called, and this will continue until all the tables that placed bids have been called. •When your table number is called, Dash for your Dessert! The Dasher must be in a sitting position at your table when the table number is announced. •Bring the dessert back to the table… and yes, you need to share!

Anna and Claire draw their portraits lovingly and meticulously by hand on acid-free paper, then spray them with an invisible fixative to prevent smudging, making them suitable for framing. A single-subject portrait takes these talented girls about five to twelve hours to complete. The portraits are done from photographs of your choice, with one, two, or three subjects. elementary Junior high computer labTechnology is moving, changing and growing almost as fast as our kids. At Grace we want to keep our students caught up by giving them a new, up-to-date computer lab that will enhance their learning experience.

The current Elementary/Junior High Computer Lab consists of desktops and servers that are re-provisioned equipment donated by local businesses when they were upgrading their infrastructure several years ago. Now, eight years later, this lab needs quite a bit of TLC and creativity to keep it functioning. It’s time for an upgrade!

Mrs. Heritage, our Jr/Sr high school English teacher, teaches and inspires our students through the art of writing. She has a small bank of computers in her classroom to help make this happen. These computers are also in need of an upgrade to enable Mrs. Heritage to continue excellence in her classroom. Bid-a-Project will provide new, functional solutions for Mrs. Heritage and other staff members who face a similar need.
