Trace and cut the dress on cardstock. Use an embossing folder or texture plate to add texture to your dress.You may also use textured cardstock.

Trace the folds of the dress on vellum or contrasting color card stock. Use a bone folder to score the foldlines.

Left Dress pleats

Right Dress Pleats

Trace the pattern and use a bonefolder to score the fold lines.

Align the bottom edges of the pleat to the bottom of the dress. Angle the pleats to the dress as in thephoto. Use tape to adhere the pleats to the back of the dress.

Angle the pleatsto the sides ofthe dress.
