The Criminal Justice Ministry will host
10th annual Trivia Night at St. James the Greater Gym
6401 Wade (at Tamm) Avenue in Dogtown.
Registration fee is $200 for a table of eight and includes beer and soda. Doors open at 6pm, with trivia beginning at 7pm.
Proceeds benefit CJM, an independent non-profit organization affiliated with the Archdiocese of St. Louis serving those affected by crime and the criminal justice system.

The Knights of Peter Claver invite you to be a Sock Angel.
There is a bright silver box in the gathering space where they are collecting new socks for distribution this winter. They do not have to be wrapped but please do not bring used socks for this drive.

Tuition Assistance Program
Back to School
Start the school year off right with all that you need. We have Target, Walmart/Sam’s, Kohl’s, Penney’s, Old Navy, Shoe Carnival, Finish Line and more. All are available in the parish office Monday thru Thursday. If you call ahead, we are happy to pull your order and have it ready for quick pick-up. You are not spending extra money, but making it work harder!
No-Cost Immunizations
The Department of Public Health is offering no-cost immunizations for children aged 3 to 18,
and free COVID-19 vaccinations for ages 12 and up.
This effort is crucial in the fight against the Delta variant, given that we are seeing dramatic spikes in COVID-19
infections among young people.
It is imperative that parents get their children aged 12 and older vaccinated.
The opportunity to get no-cost immunizations and
COVID-19 vaccinations will continue Monday -Friday until Sept. 17th
at three locations:
1. John C. Murphy Health Center 6121 North Hanley Road in Berkeley 2. North Central Community Health Center 4000 Jennings Station Road, in Pine Lawn 3. South County Health Center 4580 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Sunset Hills
(Additional opportunities are available)
Wednesday 4-7 pm at the South County Health Center
DPH will also conduct a special back-to-school event

9 am- Noon
Students are asked to bring a copy of their shot records with them.
Immunizations and vaccinations will be available,
along with special entertainment focused on children and teenagers on that day.
The clinics will be closed and no immunizations/vaccinations will be offered on September 6th, Labor day.
CPR/AED Certification
The Automated External Defibrillators are an
awesome gift but they do require some record keeping.
We need to know who we have in the
parish that is CPR/AED certified – and we need to train as many others as possible.
Medical experience is not a requirement for
this life-saving credential.
