ldquoWhatrsquos good for small business is good for the economyrdquo

August 2019

The Lockhart Chamber of Commerce has acquired 32 new members since January

1 2019 and the vast majority of these are classified as small businesses I recently

read an article published by the US Chamber of Commerce titled ldquoSmall Business

Confidence is Growingrdquo The articled cited that 69 of small business owners have

a positive outlook on the future of their companies and stated that they represent

more than 99 of all employers As one strolls through the Lockhart square and

along Hwy 142 you will observe this confidence as previously vacant store fronts

are now occupied by new entrepreneurs
