KID’S KORNER NEWS!! Kid’s Korner is for children ages 2 ½ to 5 and is held in the church basement in the room adjacent to the kitchen. Our Leader is Jason Huston who has weekly plans prepared and ready for our weekly leaders and helpers to use. **We are in need of volunteers for this ministry! If you would like to help, please see the sign-up sheet located on the Information Bulletin Board. ********************************************************* ST. GREGORY’S ANNUAL FESTIVAL St. Gregory’s Festival will be Sunday, September 3, 2017 – Family-style ham & turkey dinners with homemade noodles and stuffing – served 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – adults $10.00 – children under 12 $5.00. Come enjoy the games, bake sale, themed baskets, refreshments – fun for all ages!

We again will be hosting missionaries from Orphans Hands on Sunday, September 17,2017! We have received an email telling us that their biggest need is toiletries for the kids! Items to be donated are:

Shampoo/conditioner Soap

Toothbrush/toothpaste Brush/comb

Razors (guys and girls) Deodorant and body spray Girls~ (feminine products)

They are also in need of underwear and socks. Underwear~ Girls(adult size XS, Small) Guys (Small, Medium). Socks: Dress or athletic are needed~ darker colored (NOT WHITE). *********************************************************

HOSPITALITY MEALS will be held tomorrow, August 28, 2017. We will have TWO Hospitality Meals! We will serve the BBSD staff & McIIwain Bus drivers at noon and then our community meal at 5:30! Donations needed: cake, drink, and monetary donation ********************************************************

OPERATION SHOE BOX INFORMATION!! Some changes have been made for our Shoe Box campaign. NO CANDY OF ANY KIND /NO TOOTHPASTE may be put into Shoe Boxes and the COST to send the box is now $9.00. Please note these important changes. O.C.C. MISSION TRIP to BALTIMORE, MD (working in the warehouse) is scheduled for December 4th – 8th, 2017.
