ROCKIN’ GREENWe are delighted to announce #rockinfood2019 is taking conscious steps towards becoming a more sustainable, Green Festival. This August Bank Holiday weekend we will be reducing the amount of single use plastics utilised during our Festival as well as implementing a stricter waste management system.
We urge all of our Festival goers to get involved in the Rockin’ Green Campaign by firstly becoming aware of the waste we generate and taking action towards reducing it. Rockin’ Green reusable cups will be available to purchase during the weekend from coffee vendors and local cafes which are listed below.
The Giant Norman Man located in Market Square is not just for show. He also acts as a waste management station where festival goers can sustainably dispose of their general waste, food waste and recyclable materials. Every small step makes a big difference and we encourage everyone to get involved.
Watch out for our fun characters will be will around town promoting our all new Green Festival Events and Children’s workshops. Rockin’ Green is also supported by Wexford County Council.
