College?

If you will finish your program (including externship) in September, you

for the January 2012 graduation ceremony.

If you want your intelligence to grow: go to a library, a bookstore, or to school

If you want your spirit to grow: go to church, meditate, or find a qui-et place to pray

The Golden Token

Jasmine K Anderson

There’s a dark engraved hole

Deep inside my heart

I don’t know why its there

But I know how it starts

I feel the world taking me

For everything I got

I try to fill my void

With love and understanding

But I just can’t figure out why

This keeps on happening

I live my life

I soar and I stride

I wonder why I even try

But I can never ever lose my pride

As long as I keep my faith

My determination will never die

I know my day is coming for me

To see the light

I guess the one in my world

Is not that very bright

So I must change my bulb

And use the box not open

So I can walk up to life and grab

Great! Send us an article.

To me this quote is saying that you may not like everything you have to do, but it may be neces-

sary to do it. You can never solve a problem without working out the solution. For example, if you

want a nice car, a nice house, and other nice things in life, you have to work really hard to get

them. At the time, you may not like or enjoy what you have to do to get those nice things, but at

the end of the day you will appreciate it. Not only with materialistic things, but you can’t be happy

in life period just sitting around not doing anything. At the end of the day, the actions you do will

be the end result of your happiness. The harder the work you put into whatever it is that you’re

doing will create a greater reward. Your determination of your happiness will motivate how driven

your actions are.—Willie Butler
