Analysis of an asset and its environment: Data collect. and
analysis
Business Process Description Overview
This report determines the environment of an asset (master data,
annual values, line items, control parameters) in order to
facilitate the analysis of problems which might arise.
Initial Menu Paths
Use the following menu path to access the transaction:
Accounting ( Financial Accounting ( Fixed Assets ( Environment

Tips and Tricks
1. Access the transaction using a menu path shown in the
Overview section of this document or the transaction code AUN9
.
2. Update the following fields:

Company CodeThe company code is an organizational unit within
financial accounting. REXAMPLE : 91
Main Assets Number This is the number which, together with the
asset sub-number, identifies a fixed asset in Asset
Accounting.REXAMPLE: 0P0023044254
Assets Sub Number This is the number which, together with the
main asset number, uniquely identifies a fixed asset in Asset
Accounting.R/OEXAMPLE : 0
KEY FOR IDENTIFYING THE DATA TO BE IMPORTED
KeyYou use the environment analyzer program to determine the
data related to an asset.The part of the program for data
collection writes the collected data to table INDX under this
key.The data presentation part of the program then exports the data
out of table INDX using this key.
The key should start with 'FIAAUM'.This appears as a default in
the field.This key is recommended because the data comes from the
environment analyzer (RA'UM' program) and the application 'FIAA'.
You should then add your user name, starting at the seventh
character of the key.There are a minumum of two characters left,
after allowing for the maximum length of the SAP user name.There is
no restriction on your entry for these remaining
characters.OEXAMPLE : FIAAUM
RESTRICTIONS
AreaDepreciation area, which is managed in the system as a real
depreciation area (not a derived depreciation area).O
Fiscal YearPeriod, 12 months as a rule, for which the company is
to create its inventory and balance sheet. The fiscal year can be
the same as the calendar year, but does not have to be.

Transfer Variant You can use transfer variants to specify the
valuation method and transaction type for posting an asset
transfer.

TRANSFER TO
Existing Assets Existing Assets within the company code to which
the old assets to be transferO EXAMPLE: 0P0023044255 - 0
New Assets New Assets can be created within the Company Code to
transfer the value of the Old Assets which includes the Description
of the Assets, the Assets Class and Cost Centre.O
(Note: On above table, in column R/O/C, R = Required, O =
Optional, C = Conditional)
3. Click the Execute Button
4. Click back button to exit from the screen.
