Dear Sponsors, April, 2018
Please accept our greetings from India. The academic year coming to an end and the students are busy preparing for their examinations.
We had an eventful year 2017-2018. Our Technical Institutes are being
recognized by the corporates under C.S.R. “M/s Ashok Leyland” adopted Automobile
Trade of our Bhumika Technical Institute, and made it a centre of excellence. We were
provided with tools and equipment’s worth 1.200.000, - Rupees which is in Euros
15.500,-. Another firm, “De-Nora India Pvt. Ltd.” from Kundaim, Ponda, donated the
entire tuition fees of the girl students of Keerti Vidyalaya Technical Institute an amount
of Rupees 512.000.- which is in Euros 6.700,-.
We had a state level Science Exhibition on 9th & 10th of February, 2018. 44
projects were presented by High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools and Industrial
Training Institutes. The entire expenditure for the exhibition was sponsored by The
“Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Govt. of Goa”. Our Home
Nursing Bureau entered into a new venture. So far we were providing nursing care to
senior citizens and sick people at their residence by live-in nurses or nurses on shift
duty. Now we started providing mobile nursing service on call. Once we get a call, the
1
trained team will visit the patients and do the required service. The vehicle was donated
by the batch of ‘Physics of I.I.T. Mumbai’, of 1974 batch. Mr. Gerard Delaney, our Vice
President along with his friends contributed for the van.
It may please be noted that Indian Students Educational Aid Foundation,
presently concentrate to improve our technical institutes. From our three institutes,
every year around 600 students pass out in different job oriented trades. These
students could not pursue their education in schools, as they were considered
academically weak. We train them in one of the job oriented trade and get them a job.
Though it is a noble work, we are not provided any sort of grant by the Government.
Hence, we are looking forward to donations.
I am very grateful to our sponsors for helping us to upgrade our institutions by
contributing generously even if their sponsored students completed their education. We
expect your support in future too.
We are planning to start mobile phone repairing course from next academic year.
If you have old mobiles, you may send those to Mr. Rudolf Schwartz, Achterdiek 66a,
26131, Oldenburg, Germany so that we can get it for our students to do their practical
work.
Please find enclosed here with some successful stories of students who
completed their course in our Technical Institutes and are presently working. We also
included some stories of successful students, who were sponsored by you and are
presently working.
With Regards
