After entering the Hot 100 at #8 and setting a new record for the highest debut on the chart, Katy Perry’s Chained To The Rhythm ft. Skip Marley has taken #1 on the Hot 100. It’s the first time Katy has topped the chart since Roar held the top spot in late October 2013 for a total of seven weeks. It’s tailed by ZAYN & Taylor Swift’s I Don’t Wanna Live Forever, taking a new peak at #2 from #5 on its eighth week in the chart. Further down the Top 10, Julia Michaels secures a new peak at #8 from #10 with debut single Issues.

It’s a relatively quiet week on the Hot 100 Heatseekers chart. Kaleo’s Way Down We Go takes the top spot after moving only 23 positions from #93 to #70. Green Buzzard are back on top of the Breaker chart once again with Do You Ever Glow?

The Nova Network have thrown their weight behind Katy Perry’s Chained To The Rhythm this week, pushing the track to #1 on their Spins Chart. Hit have gotten back behind ZAYN & Taylor Swift’s I Don’t Wanna Live Forever while KIIS and Triple M keep last week’s #1s – Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You and Ryan Adams’ Do You Still Love Me?, respectively. Debuting at #1 on triple j’s Spin Chart is Stormzy’s Big For Your Boots, from his new album Gang Signs & Prayer, which is now the current triple j feature.

Oberon space rockers Green Buzzard have unleashed the latest single, Dream In/Out , taken from their forthcoming space odyssey EP Space Man Rodeo.

Dream In/Out was the final song/transmission the Arcadian Space Control ever received from Dewey Everglow’s lost spaceship, the SMR-77. From what they could gather, it seemed to be a song about escapism, a longing for “something new” and the insecurities Dewey faced about what his dreams would ultimately make of him.

Green Buzzard will be playing live at Bad Fridays (A Marrickville Block Party) with DMA’S, The Jezabels, Royal Headache and more. Friday April 14 - Railway Parade, Marrickville NSW.

Having sold five times platinum and had over 100 million Spotify plays with his previous single Freaks with Savage, Aussie DJ/producer Timmy Trumpet returns to the airwaves with Satellites, a collaboration with Swedish duo Qulinez. A change of pace for Timmy, the track debuted in the Top 20 on iTunes, has already been picked up by key Spotify playlists including New Music Friday, New Music Buzz and New Dance Beats, as well as securing a nights addition on the Hit Network.

Described as “f*cking amazing” with “a phenomenal topline and incredibly current production” by Project U, Satellites is set to be another crossover hit for Timmy Trumpet.

The ‘Cash Me Outside How Bow Dah’ meme still reigns supreme atop the Spotify Viral chart this week, only this time it’s DJ Suede The Remix God’s version of Cash Me Outside at #1 and not 4ti’s take. Prince is the real star of the chart this week, however. Following the hype behind his catalogue’s return to the streaming service last week, the icon earned three chart spots, with Purple Rain placing the highest at #4.

On The Shazam Future Hits chart, Martin Garrix manages to hit #1 with Scared To Be Lonely ft. Bebe Rexha, pulling ahead of Katy Perry’s Chained To The Rhythm ft. Skip Marley. Perry is tailed at #3 by Ed Sheeran’s latest hit How Would You Feel. Anne-Marie’s Ciao Adios makes an appearance at #9 following a huge week at radio.

Ed Sheeran pulls through on the Shazam Movers chart, however, with How Would You Feel killing all other competition – although Kygo’s new hit, and this week’s Most Added To Radio, It Ain’t Me ft. Selena Gomez, cracks #2. Among all the commercial names in the chart this week, Gang Of Youths have managed to make themselves known with What Can I do If The Fire Goes Out, debuting at #9 ahead of Vera Blue’s Private at #10.

Khalid maintains his hold on the Pandora Trendsetters Chart this week while 6lack takes a new peak at #2. Making her debut at #8 is Julia Michaels. She’s the songwriter behind such addictive hits as Justin Bieber’s Sorry, Hailee Steinfeld’s Love Myself and much of Selena Gomez’s second studio album Revival, and now she has a glistening pop song all to herself with Issues, her first official single. As the song tears up the Top Spins Chart, currently at #18, Michaels debuts on Trendsetters with 3,670 weekly Artist Station Adds on Pandora.

The howling Sydney rock-soul duo have dropped their second single and video for Come Party and made the announcement that their highly anticipated debut album Alright Already will be out on Friday March 31 supported by their biggest headline tour to date.

Come Party, which premiered on triple j’s Good Nights, is like a rope tied to your hips which jerks your body sideways in double time and won’t let go. All sweat-spattered drum-skins and grunting hyper-agitated guitar, it’s under three minutes of exhilarating garage soul that makes your blood fizz and your ears sing like a trash can falling down a set of concrete stairs.

PNAU’s Chameleon continues its power struggle with Starley’s Call On Me on the Hot 100 Australian chart this week, retaking the #1 and swapping places with Call On Me from #2. Chance The Rapper makes the next notable move in a largely stagnant Top 10, breaking into the bracket from #11 to a high of #9 with All Night.

Snakehips take a new peak atop the Hot 100 Alternative chart with Don’t Leave after four weeks of floating around the top end of the chart. The move to #1 from #5 is shadowed by Stormzy’s Big For Your Boots, which climbed to #3 from #18 on its second week in the chart and is currently the most played track on triple j. Ali Barter debuts in the Top 5 at #4 with Cigarettes, while Syd’sAll About Me cracks the Top 10 at #6 from #31. Northeast PartyHouse round off the Top 10 with Calypso Beach entering at #10from #29.

The AIR Radio Play chart remains largely stagnant this week, though there is a new #1 on the Singles chart: Tash Sultana’s Jungle has managed to overtake Sia’s Move Your Body. Sia’s other tracks Cheap Thrills and Chandelier make gains at #6 from #7 and #9 from #10, respectively.

Methyl Ethel have pulled ahead on the triple j Hit List with Ubu, followed by a debut from Stormzy at #3 with Big For Your Boots. Gang Of Youths’ moving new single What Can I Do If The Fire Goes Out cracks #4 while Snakehips’ Don’t Leave ft. MØ holds on at #5.
