Autobiografía As a review activity, you will prepare an autobiography. For a few days you will be assigned to write about different topics about yourself. During the writing time (freewriting), you are to write for 10 minutes without stopping. Your goal is to write 100 words in this 10 minute period. You will be graded on 1) these freewrites and 2) your diorama which will include a picture of yourself and 2 grammatically correct sentences from each topic. If you miss a class day that we work on the Autobiografía, you will need to come in during tutorials for 15 minutes to make up the writing and to write your 2 best sentences on diorama. All freewrites and the diorama will be done completely in class and will be due on September 10 th . This is a formative test. Bring a picture by Thursday, August 30 th to be used in your project. This picture will be displayed in the hallway.

Autobiografía As a review activity, you will prepare an autobiography. For

a few days you will be assigned to write about different topics about yourself.

No English words except for names. Keep the sentences simple. Use lists if you have them.

Use words that you already know. If you don’t know a word, don’t use it or reword the idea.

Use as many adjectives as possible. Spell as accurately as you can and then move on.

Use posters from the room as help.

Day 1

TIME IS UP• When time is up, count the number

of words and write it on the top right hand section of your paper, with today’s date. 

Diorama• Follow the instructions on how to create a

diorama. Do not glue the diorama 3D. This will alow you to fold it and place in journal.

• Glue your photo on the top panel. • Choose two of your best written and

grammatically correct sentences from today’s writing and write on bottom panel.

• Be sure to leave enough room for 6 more sentences.

• Tell me what you will be doing in the future. Where will you be? What will you be doing? What will your relationship status be?

Use Ir + A + INF as much as needed.Voy vamosVasVa van

Usa frases como: Voy a ser, voy a hacer, o Quiero ser etc.

Use at least 4 other verb phrases from the WS you just picked up.

Day 4

• Be sure all sentences are spelled correctly and are grammatically correct.

• Glue your diorama so it stands 3D.
