Supports Full Duplex Communication between Active Tag and itself

Capable to wirelessly network over WIFI to connect with a centralised server system and with other Transmission Units in order to collectively cover a larger area than otherwise possible individually – (If WIFI is not available across the school premises, inbuilt support for conventional Ethernet/LAN connectivity will be supported

3. Bus Monitoring Unit:

Uses GPRS modem to communicate with the central server

Creates an internal WIFI for the on-board Router/Transmission Unit to wirelessly connect and transmit surveillance data to the central server through it

Communicates the location, speed and ID of the bus to the central server in real time

An onboard can detect rash driving

Central Server can request for information regarding presence of a particular student on-board the bus at any point in time

All weather VGA camera with night vision – 2MP (1600 x 1200) - UXGA resolution, to transmit snapshots of the interior of the bus at preset polling intervals

Arrival of the bus at designated stop of students intimidated to parents 10 minutes in advance via SMS

4. Central Server:

Maintain centralised database and populate with real time values

Generate monthly attendance of students both class(period wise attendance) and bus

System can be programmed to track attendance in labs/extra curricular activities(indoor)

Monthly report generation of individual students to enable management/parents to track the attendance and number of hours spent inside labs etc. for better insight on the academic results

Complete Handfree Unlike conventional Low Frequency RFID systems in the market, our

system offers complete hands free operation

Users wearing the tags need not swipe the tags against readers to register an event, the system automatically traps the information off the tags due to its long range capability

This shifts the characteristics of the system from user triggered to self-aware unlike the conventional systems that rely on the honesty of the user wearing the tag to swipe the RFID card to register an event. The automatic operation of our system means the user’s willingness to register an event is no more a triggering factor – offering fool proof surveillance
