Common life is based on mutual help and forgiveness. To illustrate his teaching, Jesus tells us the parable of the implacable debtor (Gospel). This parable has an echo in the Old Testament, which tells us: "Forgive the offense of your neighbor, and so, when you ask for forgiveness, your sins will be forgiven" (First reading). St. Paul asks us not to live for ourselves, but for the Lord, to whom we belong. (Second Reading)

En la oracion del Padre Nuestro le pedimos a Dios que nos perdone “como nosostros
perdonamos a los que nos ofenden”. Todos nosotros cometemos errores, y Dios nos conoce bien. Seamos inteligentes y perdonameos de corazon.
La vida comun esta fun‐dada en la ayuda mutu‐al y en el perdon. Esto es lo que recuerda Je‐sus y, para ilustrar su
enseñanza, nos relata la parabola del deudor implac‐able (evangelio). Esta parabola ene un eco en el An guo Testamento, que nos dice: “Perdona la ofensa a tu pro‐jimo, y asi, cuado pidas perdon, se te perdonaran tus pe‐cados” (Primer lectura). San Pablo nos pide que no vi‐vamos para nosotros mismos, sino para e Señor, a quien pertenecemos (Segunda Lectura) ‘Les doy un mandamiento nuevo, dice el Señor, que se amen
unos a otros como yo los he amando”.

Please pray for our Squires & Squire Roses, who will be traveling next weekend to Los Angeles. Our kids will be visiting Our Lady of Angels Cathedral representing St. Lucy’s, some of the kids will present the gifts for the Holy Mass. They will be attending a Dodgers game as well. Thank you to all who made this trip possible.
