RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The Tournament is open to Tamil Nadu players only2. The Latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss System will be followed.3. Time control: Each half an hour (one hour per round)4. Number of rounds and Round schedule will be announced before the commencement of the first round.5. TNSCA player Registration is compulsory. TNSCA registration fee is Rs.100 for the year 2016-2017.Players Registering with TNSCA should submit duly filled in and signed TNSCA Players Registration. Form plus one passport size photograph and Date of Birth Certificate copy. Date of Birth certificates registered within one year of the birth of the player alone will be accepted.6. Players are requested to bring their Own International Chess set and chess clock if any.7. Buchholz tiebreak Swiss system will be applied. In case of tie, Prizes will not be shared.8. The decision shall be final and binding on all players concerned.

11. TNSCA/KDCA/ King Chess Academy reserves the rights to admit/reject any entry without assigning any reason thereof.TNSCA/KDCA/ King Chess Academy reserves the rights of admission to the venue and the lodging place.12. Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants.13. Dormitory accommodation will be given to outstation players and they are requested to bring their own beddings subject to availability.14.Prize Distribution at 5-30 pm on 8-1-2017
