Thanks to Aveyron’s staff and their generous donations, we were recently able to donate:
Food Drive Contribution – 35 pounds to the local food shelf
Shoe Drive Contribution – Several boxes of shoes were donated to a nursing home in Northfield for re-use and/recycle. Eye Glass Drive Contributions – Eye glass donations were collected and given to the Lions “Recycle for Sight Program”.
Bike Helmets-Every year, with the generous support of the Lions Club in Hector and Stewart, Aveyron donates bike helmets to the 2nd graders at the Buffalo Lake-Hector School. A presentation is given to the kids to help them understand the importance of protecting their heads against injury.

worthwhile causes!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Reminder!
Don’t forget to recycle your aluminum cans! There is a trailer designated for cans parked at Aveyron’s Office (222 5th Ave. NW). Funds will benefit clients and support activities. Please Help Us Recycle!
On Tuesday March 15, a group of Aveyron clients and staff rallied with other companies at the State Capital to show support for a 5% increase for Home and Community Based Services. It was a good day, attending the rally and listening to speakers, meeting two of our state representatives, and having lunch before heading back to Hutchinson.
We can always use your help in contacting our legislatures for their support! The more people that join this cause, the greater the chances that our voices will be heard! Find out who represents you by going to www.gis.leg.mn/OpenLayers/districts/
TWINS TICKETS For Staff! There will be a drawing for Twins Tickets for those who picked up shifts or got “stuck” during the month of April to say “Thanks!”
