Aviva Life Protection Solutions (ALPS) is a digital platform for advisers to apply for, track and manage protection cover on behalf of your clients.

At Aviva, we’re always improving the application journey on ALPS. We know that for you, it’s vital you can write business quickly and simply to make the most of your time.

Quote/EditBased on your feedback, we’ve made it easier to generate and compare quotes for multiple covers with a range of edit options and a simplified journey. Whether you’re comparing different quotes or editing an application, you won’t have to start from the beginning and you’ll only need to enter your client’s details once.

Increase riskIf your client’s circumstances change or you want to revisit additional options for a new sales opportunity, ALPS offers the flexibility to edit an application and make changes after an underwriting decision, rather than you having to submit a new application. For instance, you can increase the sum assured, the policy term and add other cover options.

Transition from portalsYou can quote and apply for cover via all major portals, or directly through ALPS. When you use a portal, we transfer the data through to ALPS to save you duplicating work.

Further medical informationWe can gain consent to access your client’s medical records digitally. In 2019, the overall response rate was 79%, and 56% of digital consents were returned within 24 hours1. Having received those, the request for a General Practitioner’s report (GPR) is automatically sent. We save time by encouraging the use of ‘i-GPR’ software, which allows GPs to send reports to us digitally.

Our range of over 100 real-time notifications let you know the progress of cases, including updates on medical evidence and underwriting decisions.

My ClientsMy Clients holds all Aviva policy details for all existing business in one place, with real-time policy updates. You can use this information to help support ongoing client engagement and retain sales.

MyAvivaMyAviva is the easy way for your clients to access policy information online. Rather than contacting you, clients self-serve on simple tasks meaning they can access what they need in one place. For anything more than that, they’re directed back to you.

To register, your client just needs to go to aviva.co.uk/myaviva and click ‘Register’. We only need a few details to set up their account.
