I’m grateful to be a part of Beckham Mills Baptist Association. I was reminded last Thursday evening at First Baptist Church in Cheyenne how grateful I am to be in this association. I’m grateful for the fifty-eight more baptisms this year. I’m grateful for the hunger and desire our churches have to see the lost come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I’m grateful for our churches and their generosity and love for our Lord that they demonstrate in their community and through the cooperative program. I’m grateful for our pastors and their friendship. Our pastors have an incredible fellowship and friendship that is not found in many associations. I’m grateful for Benny and Arlene and the work they do at Beckham Mills Baptist Association. They both do so many things that go unnoticed. Thank you both for all you do. I’m grateful for my wife Penny and my daughter Bailey. Grateful for all the sacrifices they have made for my ministry through the years and their unconditional love. So give thanks to the Holy One. Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son. Grateful to be your Director of Missions,

Dear Association,

God is Faithful!!! This is a phrase that we can take and make

an impact on the lives of others when used in believing it to

be true. The problem is that much of our believing is

dependent on what is happening in our lives at that time. The

truth is that God is faithful no matter what we are going

through. As a friend told me once, paraphrased, “God is not a

God based on feelings.”

My prayer for you is that you find God’s faithfulness in your

life today and give Him praise for it.

NEWS FROM SOUTH DAKOTA

Hello BMBA,

We are all well here in South Dakota. It is be-

ginning to rain and cool off here. It has been

rather warm and dry. We are as ready for the cold weather that

is right around the corner as we can be.

The church is doing well. Had another lady join the church a

week ago and been having good attendance. You can pray for

us in the area of a worship leader and pianist. Technology is

good but you cannot beat live music.

We all thank you for your prayers and support.

November is here already, or almost. We saw trees

changing last week near Owasso. Drivers are already

talking about Thanksgiving and cold temperatures. We

need to pray for the drivers as they deliver the goods

they are hauling and the driving conditions during the

winter.

Bibles are still being handed out on Sundays and they can pick up some at

the truck stop. It seems we are seeing more stop and ask when we will

start. More and more people are concerned about the nation today and look-

ing for answers. Please pray for us as we minister to them.
