for our lost cockatiel, ”Pepper,” for the last
13 weeks in this paper. She was with us for 13 years since
she was a baby. She was lost
from our home in Lawrenceville on January 12. We
found her on April 13 in Winder, Ga. After joyfully bringing her home that Friday,
we marveled at her ability to live in the harsh outdoors for
3 months. However, being in the weak state she was in
when we found her she succumbed to the stress of the treacherous
conditions of being outside for so long and she passed
away early the next morning. She was in her home, safe with her family when she
died. We appreci-ate all of you who showed so much
concern for this little bird. THANK YOU.
