Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your booking to the crèche facilities at the Galopins.
In order to help you in your daily organisation, please find here :
> what you need to do when you arrive
> what you need to bring for your child(ren)
> a “typical day” at the Galopins (as an exemple)
The first day (Sunday or Monday) is when we welcome all the children to the crèche, please come to the Galopins Club in order to :
- meet the staff who will take care of your children - give them your booking confirmation, to check that everything is OK (if not, we will do our best to change it) - hand in or fill in the health questionnaire form - visit the crèche (if your children do not already know it)
Indoor clothing : - tracksuit bottoms or tights or indoor style trousers - a spare change of clothing : baby grow, T-shirt, pullover, socks, etc… - slippers (your choice) ; Outdoor clothing :
- ski suit, scarf, gloves hat, suitable shoes / boots for the snow - sunglasses, sun cream
… And don’t forget :
- the dummy and / or teddy bear (if your child has one) - nappies and wipes (if he/she is still in nappies)
Indoor clothing :
- tracksuit bottoms or indoor style trousers - slippers (your choice)
Outdoor clothing :
- ski suit, scarf, gloves hat, suitable shoes / boots for the snow - sunglasses, sun cream
Galopins in the Centre of La Rosière :
- directly at the Galopins on the first day - at the meeting points for the ESF : (Kids’ ski area or stars class meeting points) : ask an ESF instructor (there is a
special area for the kids’ clothing and someone from the Galopins will take care of them) Galopins in Les Eucherts :
- at the Galopins office on the first day

> The pick-up and drop off times are :
Morning : 8h45 – 9h30 : drop off 12h – 13h15 : pick up
Afternoon : 13h-13h30 : drop off 16h30 – 17h15 : pick-up
> Our Sundays (and sometimes Mondays) are dedicated to a warm welcome for the children.
As such, the activities planned during the morning and afternoon are calm (particularly as we are aware that the children are often tired after travelling and then find themselves in a strange place with new people)
> For the rest of the week the activities are mainly outdoors in the snow !
Morning :
- indoor games, learning activities, coordination games - outdoor games, walks, sledging, making snowmen - 11h30- 12h30 : meal time for those who have booked (the others continue their games etc)
[meal supplied by an outside caterer : starter, main course, dairy product, dessert]
Afternoon :
- a sleep for the children who require (we have a special quiet room for sleeping) - arts and crafts, learning games, coordination games, … outdoor games, walks, sledging, snowmen ; - 16h00 : afternoon tea - a snack supplied by the Galopins (except if your child is allergic to cake, please supply your own).
- Outside the ski lesson times the children will follow a program as above with indoor and outdoor activities. - For the lessons, the Galopins will take care of the changeover between the Galopins and ESF or vice versa
depending upon the formula you have chosen.
