COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Computer Technology engineers apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the

design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. The tasks

performed by these workers evolve quickly, reflecting new areas of specialization or changes in technology, as well

as the preferences and practices of employers. These engineers can be involved in the design and development of

many types of software, including computer games, word processing and business applications, operating

systems and network distribution, and compilers, which convert programs to machine language for execution on a

computer.

JOB PROSPECTUS AND CAREER OPTION

Computer Technology student can work as software engineer, software is the set of programmed instructions that

enable a computer to perform specified functions. Computer Technology engineer can also work as web developer,

game developer and database developer.

COMPUTER ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

Computer Engineering is a discipline that combines both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Computer

engineers usually have training in electrical engineering, software design and hardware-software integration

instead of only software engineering or electrical engineering Computer engineering, one of the most rapidly

growing fields today, helps us to solve modern engineering problems using design, development and application of

digital and computer-based systems.

JOB PROSPECTUS AND CAREER OPTION

Computer engineers are involved in writing software and firmware for embedded micro controllers, designing VLSI

chips, designing analog sensors, designing mixed signal circuit boards, and designing operating systems.

Computer engineers are also suited for robotics research which relies heavily on using digital systems to control

and monitor electrical systems like motors, communications and sensors.
