Bach's Childhood
Johann Sebastian Bach was born in Eisensach, Germany on march, 21 1685
He was the youngest son of Johann Ambrosius Bach and Maria Elisabeth Lammerheit
His father was the director of the town musicians
during his early years Bach learned to play
many instrument including harpsichord, viola, and violin.
Bach father taught him to play the viola and violin
But his greatest talent was on the organ Bach was one of the greatest organists of his
time

Bach's Years as a composer
• As a composer Bach wrote many pieces• But some of his most famous pieces was the
Brandenburg Concertos, cello suites, st Matthew passion
• He is now considered one of the most famous and influential composers of the Baroque era
• He also wrote the toccata and fugue in D minor. A toccata is a composition for a keyboard instrument in free style. A fugue however is a very structured work.
