Candidates must pass the following modules outright: The Nature of Nursing, Principles and Practice of Clinical Nursing I, and Nursing Management of the Physically Ill Adult I. Unless the Board of Examiners recommend otherwise the maximum mark attainable on repeating a module in any session is 44%.Principles and Practice of Clinical Nursing 1 (NU185) is comprised of two components (theoretical and skills) in order to pass this module students must pass both the theoretical component (minimum of 40%)and the skills component (pass/fail)In order to pass the first University Examination candidates must pass both the written and practice elements of the programme. Candidates who fail to successfully complete the First University Examination within two years of commencing the programme will be required to withdraw.
