As of recent times it had come to our attention that these units were also developing a hydraulic leakage issue. This was causing issues with customers complaining of a “spongy” brake pedal and Mechanics having difficulties bleeding the hydraulic brake system after servicing or replacing brake components. After many hours of research and development Injectronics have now released a Test and Repair service of the ATE MK70 ABS hydraulic block. With some of these units costing well over $2000 to purchase new, Injectronics can now offer another cost effective and time saving solution. Customers are required to send their vehicles’ complete ABS module and pump assembly for testing. Once assessed Injectronics can offer to repair either the Module only or Hydraulic block and Module depending on the vehicles fault. Once repaired and refitted to the vehicle NO programming is required. Customers will also have peace of mind knowing their ABS system has been repaired by the experts and functioning correctly.     The Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) system is fitted to many Mercedes-Benz vehicles ranging from 2001-2011. This includes W211 E-Class and R230 SL Class.

    This type of Electro-hydraulic brake system provides the brakes with a brake fluid supply from the hydraulic high-pressure reservoir, which is sufficient for several braking events. A piston pump driven by an electric motor supplies a controlled brake fluid pressure between 140 and 180 Bar in the gas diaphragm reservoir (Accumulator).

    Mercedes-Benz set a cycle limit or lifespan to the SBC Hydraulic pump fitted to W211 and R230 series vehicles. The SBC / ABS module counts braking cycles and after approx 300,000 cycles, an error message appears. This has been set as a precaution to allow the vehicle’s owner to have their SBC control unit repaired or replaced before complete failure. Some companies only reset the counter which is completely unsafe! When your vehicle’s SBC pump motor fails you will lose all braking or have reduced braking power and lose all power assist. This also means only the Front Brake Calipers operate under Emergency operation.

    Injectronics will fully rebuild your vehicles SBC / ABS Hydraulic Pump Motor and reset C249F fault code. Injectronics also supply a Brand-New Bosch Accumulator with the repair. This must be fitted upon return of repaired unit following correct workshop procedure.

    Injectronics also carry a number of complete replacement units if the customer’s fault is not listed and their unit is unrepairable.

    Some of the error messages displayed in the vehicles instrument cluster are:• STOP VEHICLE

    Many OE Coolant reservoirs are failing due to the contamination, exposure to the elements and collision damage. Dorman offer replacement engine coolant reservoirs which are manufactured from premium plastic to withstand the stresses of under bonnet heat and engine vibration. Many have been redesigned with a more durable construction to withstand extreme temperatures and a longer service life (where applicable). It is thoroughly tested to ensure optimum fit and performance on specific vehicle applications.

    • Direct replacement - engine coolant reservoir fits and functions like original equipment for a trouble-free installation.

    • Most Dorman reservoirs also include a new reservoir cap and drain tube (where applicable)

    The Heater Integrated Module (HIM), also known as the HVAC is an electronic control module attached to the left side of the HVAC main unit. The HIM consists of a number of small electric motors, electrical connectors, circuit board and a blower motor control heat sink.

    These units are fitted to all of the following vehicles: • Ford Falcon BA – BF series 2002-2011 • Ford Falcon FG series 2008-2016 • Ford Territory 2004-2016
