Mental Health problem for both Anne Marie and Ray:

From the case study we came to know Anne Marie got Depression and sometimes she was panicked and aggressive with her kids. She was uncertain and confused about her unsatisfactory relationship with her husband Ray.

In my opinion I felt that Anne Marie was so dependent on her husband and felt insecure because she has no job (no life security for her since she haven’t finishes her schooling).

Both Ray and Anne got married in their young age (not so much matured). Unless Anne Marie, Ray was a single child to his parents and he was raised by single parent

mother since from the age of 16. Maybe Ray would have felt, he doesn’t have much support (financially) from Anne Marie.

Since he was running his family with his single earning. Also he had commitment by purchasing new home (have repay the loan amount if there was one).

Anne Marie got depressed after her father’s death and concerned about her mother who was suffering from depression for past 15 years and became alone.

15 years history of depression (Mental Health problem) for Anne Marie’s mother treated with medication may have indirectly influenced her (Anne Marie).
