Why is it important to back up your work/information?

The reason why you should backup is that in case your computer breaks down or gets a virus then you will need to do a reboot. So when you reboot all of your files will be deleted. You will need to save all your files on a usb or a cd to keep you files safe.

What should you back up your work or information to?

You should back up your files on a usb or a cd something that does not include you into creating a secret file on your computer saying back up because that would get you no where. So as I said save it on something that doesn’t include you saving it o your computer.

Where should you keep your backed up work or information?

Once you have backed up your information you need to keep your information in a safe place so you do not loose it.1 tip you could give it to your parents to keep safe or maybe put it somewhere were you trust its safe. Make sure you check you have it before rebooting.

How can you keep your backups secure(so that the data stays

safe)

You can keep your data safe by not overwriting it and not leaving it on top of the computer and looking at it when its melted. You can keep it safe by setting a password on it so your sister does not overwrite it. Make sure if you have a usb put a label on it so you can see and not step on it.
