Edward Joseph Ruscha IV (roo-SHAY; born December 16, 1937) is an American artist associated with the Pop art movement. He has worked in the media of painting, print-making, drawing, photography, and film. Ruscha lives and works in Culver City, California.

John Anthony Baldessari (June 17, 1931) is an American conceptual artist known for his work featuring found photography and appro-priated images. He lives and works in Santa Monica and Veni-ce, California.Initially a painter, Baldessari began to incor-porate texts and photography into his canva-ses in the mid 1960s. In 1970 he began wor-king in printmaking, film, video, installation, sculpture and photography.His art has been featured in more than 200 solo exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe.[2] His work influenced Cindy Sherman, David Salle, and Barbara Kruger among others.
