    QUESTION 1: (23 MARKS)

    (a) Describe and explain the conceptual process through which an

    illustrator goes once the brief is in hand.

    (6 marks)

    (b) Explain the ways to proceed for an illustrator who was asked to

    create an image without the subject being present.

    (5 marks)

    (c) Explain clearly the concept of “ Erase, change and adapt at will”.

    (4 marks)

    (d) Once the brief has been worked out, and ready to start, you have to

    choose the adequate style. Explain what is style?

    (2 marks)

    (e) An overview on illustration will depict hundreds of style, but in broad

    terms, there are two forms of imagery. List these forms of imagery and

    explain their differences.
