    4 Corners

    6yds to ce nter cone15 minutes

    Set groups like diagram wi th about 6 yds to the

    center cone. Start without the ball and talkabout 1) changing directions and 2) changingspeeds. Introduce the ball and start with turns.Eventually move into f orward facing (1v1)moves.U8-inside/outside cut, Drag back and G. BestU9-Cruyff, Scissors.U10-Step over turns, Ronaldo

    Turn into a game, each team competing.

    Do not run into the center cone or any

    other player. Dribble with all parts of their feet.

    Ball should be close to the ir body,

    touching the ball with every step.

    Change Direction, Change Speed

    Technical:Into the Corners8 yds between squares

    15 minutes

    Split the group into 4 equal groups and designate each group to a corner. Using differentparts of feet players must advance a squareto the right. Give players different technical

    tasks in order to advance.Competition:Players must now race into the next square.1st player into the square with the ball undercontrol gains a point.

    Circles with outside/inside of f oot. Stop n Go Scissors

    Close control of ball.

    Change of Speed/Change of Direction

    Head up to avoid others.

    Technical Game:Treasure Island

    20x30yds15 minutes

    Blue players must get as many balls pastdefenders to score in one of the four goals. Toscore a goal Blue players must dribble throughthe goals and stop the ball. If the Yellowplayers steal the ball they bring it back to thecenter. However many balls are beyond the

    goals after 2 minutes is the score of the Blueteam. Switch roles and keep track of points.

    Awareness of space and defenders.

    Positive 1st touch.

    Attack goals with confidence and

    speed.

    Control towards open goal.

    Small Sided Game:Dribble to Score

    20x30yds20 minutes

    5v5 or 4v4. Goal is scored by dr ibbling through1 of each teams 3 gates.

    End with unrestricted play.

    Change of speed and direction.

    Awareness of space.

    Quick decision making.
