Project Goals

• Seismic retrofit • Restroom and shower upgrades• New bleachers, lockers, doors and hardware, and

signage• Upgrade of existing fire alarm system and

emergency lighting• Upgrade of existing plumbing systems• New ceilings and painting of exterior and interior

throughout (existing graphics to be protected in place)

• New floor finishes. (Existing wood flooring to be protected in place)

• Hazardous materials abatement• Exterior walkways and parking lot improvements • Campus directional signage and assistive listening

system• Demolition of portable building 900 at Hoover

Construction Safety and Logistics• District site supervision• Full time on site Construction Management firm• Monitor and control construction traffic • Hours of operation are: Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm; Saturday:

9:00 am – 6:00 pm• Install fencing and barricades to separate construction from the students,

staff, and community• Keep site and surrounding areas clean of construction debris and dust

control• Implement continuous safety training of construction personnel• Maintain open communication with the community
