Keep your hands two inches from either side of the blade at all time. If you must cut a smaller piece use a push stick.

Do not place hands in front of the blade. The material may have weak spots and slip taking your hands into the blade

Do not stand to the right side of the saw while in use

Never reach around a moving saw blade. Clear scrap with a piece of wood 10” or longer, or stop the machine and clear debris with a brush

When cutting curves, use relief cuts

Use a Vee-Block to cut round stock

Should the blade break while in use. Turn off the power and wait for the machine to stop. Immediately notify your instructor.

When backing out of a cut be sure to turn the machine off first to avoid un-tracking the blade.

seems dangerous or you are unsure of it DON’T DO IT!!!
