Goal of this lesson:Solidifying the understanding of baptism in the name

of Jesus Christ

• If we are not careful even though we have been forgiven we will allow guilt to affect our life.

• Such feeling will affect your spiritual

growth.• We need to understand God’s forgiveness

and what happens when one is forgiven by God?

I Corinthians 6:11

It may be a simple definition of justification but it

means my relationship with God is “Just-as-if-i-ed” never sinned.

1.Puts them in the bottom of the sea. (Micah 7:19)

2.Puts them behind his back. (Isaiah 38:17)

3.Remembers them no more. (Jeremiah 31:34)

4.Removes them as far as the east is from the west. (Psalms 103:12)

What 4 things does God do with forgiven sin?

• Obedience is an important part of being right with God.

• We obey His word because we want to do His will in our lives.

• A parallel can be drawn between breaking man’s laws and breaking God’s laws.

• Breaking our government’s laws leads to unhappiness.• The same is true for God’s laws.

Corinthians 15:4). We are also baptized according to the scriptures.

As you can see baptism is not just “joining the church.” It has

spiritual implications that nothing else accomplishes.
