INTRO
In 2007 I founded-bar desIgn wIth a vIsIon: makIng It a reference In the motorcycle desIgn. today bar-desIgn Is a realIty and we can offer, wIth our network of partners, a full desIgn servIce. from market and competItors analysIs to runnIng prototypes.
beIng a truly passIonate motorcyclIst and graduated In IndustrIal desIgn, It was a natural end to mIx the two elements, passIon and professIon. durIng my carreer I made experIence In many dIfferent areas of desIgn: product, graphIc, automotIve, retaIl and fashIon. all thIs experIence allows me now to understand the world In a better way and so to desIgn better products.

what’s wrong with the 883?...probably nothing! but we asked some “friends” to give us their opinion.
“the sit is very low...because it’s a female bike”
“it’s a good entry bike but I would take the 1200”
“doesn’t brake enought for my riding habits”
“it’s a classic, better take a second hand”
“the riding position is good for highways but unconfortable”
“...you can’t really carve on the right without skretching the pipes”

the concept
883-clubman
based on the 883 standard gets a higher back for a more dynamic ride. the main difference is made from longer rear shocks and a retro style sit. standard tires on cast wheels, taken from the low version, gives a urban style and set the bike as “on road” machine. high pipes line gives an extra retro style and allow the rider to use the bike at it’s best without the fear to scratch anything on the asphalt. the clubman could be the ideal base for many customization in different ways: short track, cafe racer, touring, retro etc...
883-scrambler
based on the 883 standard gives the feeling to be able to go everywhere. the main difference is made from longer rear shocks, a retro style sit, short mudguard and high handlebar. light enduro tires (17’ back wheel needed) and chain transmission together, give the bike an “on-off” style that with graphics and details set the bike as “vintage off road”. high pipes line gives an extra retro style and allow the rider to use the bike wherever he wants, climbing sidewalk steps downtown or following white roads in the country. the 883 scrambler would be the only alternative to the triumph on this segment.
883-cross country far from the 883 standard the c.c. mounts an upside-down fork, (taken from the xr1200), extra long rear shocks and real enduro tires (17’ back wheel needed). styling is the same of the scrambler with more aggressive details. high from the ground, with backward foot pegs and high handlebar, the cross country allows the rider to adopt a truly off road position. the handling of the bike is total, the range of the bike is now set from the ability of the rider instead of the geometry of the bike.
