Hello on congratulations on your forthcoming wedding!

We are a husband and wife team dedicated to creating a stunning record of your wedding day.

Working in a natural photojournalistic style we record the emotions of your day, telling the whole story from preparations to evening celebrations.

We’re living proof that getting married is A Good Thing. We’ve been married for 15 years, have two fabulous children

and still love working together.

Weddings is what we do and more importantly what we love to do. Having a job which means we get to be part of such

an amazing day is about as good as it gets. We love working with fab, fun couples who just want to relax and enjoy their

day without having to worry about posing for photo after photo.

We’re with you all day, right through from preparations (yes, grooms too. There are two of us, remember!) We work in a really discreet way, capturing those important moments -

even some you don’t notice on the day.

We always like to take the two of you away for a short while to get some beautiful shots of you as you start your married life. It’s also a great chance for you to spend a little moment

of calm together before the party really gets going!

We stay on to the evening reception, up until just after the first dance, although if you’ve any other exciting stuff planned

for later than that just let us know as we’d hate to miss anything!


Your Wedding Day

Our whole ethos is based on getting to know and love our clients. A big part of that is the Engagement Shoot which is included in all our packages.

It’s a fun, relaxed session where you’ll be able to see how we work and get to know us better so by the time your wedding comes around you’ll see us as friends sharing your special day.

Of course, you’ll also get to see some amazing pictures of the two of you as well!

If you’d like an album too then we offer a number of different options which can be purchased at any time.• Detailed consultation

• Wedding day coverage by 2 photographers from groom and/or bridal party preparations, arrival at ceremony, ceremony, reception, speeches, cake cutting, evening reception to first dances

• Slideshow of ‘the wedding day so far’ shown at the evening reception ( facilities permitting)

• Calling cards personalised with a pre-wedding shoot image, showing your web slideshow address and secure ordering password to give to all your guests

• Secure online photo gallery and proofing of all your images, typically around 300 of them

• Disc of hi-res files suitable for printing up to 12x8”, with a licence to print. All images will be edited and retouched where necessary. We do not limit the number of photos given, but as a guide there will usually be around 300 wedding pictures and around 40 pre-wedding shoot pictures.

All our albums are individually designed around your images and will tell the whole story of your day, from the preparations up to the first dance.

All the albums come in a lovely velvet bag in a presenation box.

We use Queensberry of New Zealand for our top albums. Each album is bespoke and is personally designed by us.

We think they’re the best albums in the world, but please judge for yourself - we’ve got lots of samples to show you so drop us a line and we can arrange for you to see them.


Your photographic art should get the treatment it deserves. Red Tree will give your images the vibrancy and clarity that traditional photographic prints and albums can’t match. Hand bound and encased in fine, natural leather, they open out flat with an almost invisible crease, so each image is on full view.


How would you describe your style?

We work mainly in a photojournalistic style. This means capturing special moments and emotions unobtrusively and with little input from us. Most of the time you’ll forget we’re there!

We love your style but want some more traditional group shots too. Is this something you do?

Of course. Whilst most people book us because they love our natural style, we appreciate that people still want and expect a few family shots, so we’re more than happy to take up to around 8. This should take about 20 mintues or so, so won’t impact on your day too much.


Frequently Asked Questions

I don’t like having my picture taken!

Who does?! That’s where the engagement shoot comes in. By the time your wedding day comes around you’ll have already experienced how we work and will have seen some ace pictures of yourselves, so hopefully you’ll be able to relax (a bit!) on the day.

What happens after the wedding?

We spend lots of time giving your images a little TLC, and we’ll have them available to view online in your own private gallery 3 weeks after your wedding day. Then when you’re ready we arrange a viewing in your own home to choose the images for your album if you’re having one.

Do you travel?

Yes we do. We’re based in Yorkshire but cover weddings all over the country. For weddings which require an overnight stay we charge accomodation expenses at cost. For overseas weddings pleasecontact us for a bespoke quote.

How do we book you?

If you’re interested in finding out more about us we can arrange a consultation in your home where you can chat to us in more detail about your plans and ask us any questions you may have. After that if you’d like to go ahead and book us we ask for a £250 booking fee to secure the date. The balance is due one month before your wedding.
