• He is Member of Doctoral Committee of Anna University, Chennai, Was Group Director in charge of Technology Divisions vizAero, Flight controls, Propulsion and System Design and Engineering for UAVs, Member of Independent Verification & Validation (I V & V) Team for KAVERI Engine and National Control Law Team for LCA

• Organized and conducted International Workshop’ INDUSMAV-08 ’ on Micro Air Vehicles’ jointly with NAL & AFRL,USA, has Organized and conducted First International Seminar ICAUV-2009 on UAVs in India jointly with ‘UVS INTERNATIONAL’ Paris, FRANCE.

• Advisor NDRF (NATIONAL DESIGN RESEARCH FORUM, INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERS- INDIA)

• Visiting faculty for M.E.(Avionics ) Division at MIT, Anna University , Chennai and consultant in the field of UAVs.


Dr. Sankara Narayanan: National Aeronautical Laboratory (NAL)

• Worked in NAL propulsion Division 73-2007 as scientist, Project Leader and Project Director, Consultant since 2007, UNESCO Fellow for an year at SULZER , Zurich , Switzerland, Trainee Ecole central de Lyon, Lyon, France, Visited ETH, Zurich, UC Berkeley, DFVLR, Cologne , and many other universities, USA .

• Project leader for NAL-ADE project on MAVs, Present Technical committee member ARDB , SIGMA Panel , and Technical committee Member National Program on MAV. Organizing secretary, International conference on MAV, MAV 08, Agra. Team leader for the NAL team . MAV 08, Agra

• Holding Two patents and one copy- write software.

• Involved in MICAV competition, Design of Fixed and Flapping wing MAVs, Flight Testing of MAVs , Design of efficient, high Speed Mini Propellers, Advanced propulsion system Specialization Aero space Propulsion, Turbo machinery, Advanced Propulsion concepts, Small Gas turbine Design .Engine Intake flow Distortion, kaveri Engine and G.E engines Intake distortion studies Industrial centrifugal machines: Engineering Design and Transfer of technology , Air circulation system for Autoclaves, Solar Turbines.

He is the founder of Barola Aero Sports and continues to spearhead the operations of the firm as Head of Operations. He is also the Managing Director of BMS Agro Industries Ltd. He holds MBA from Madras University.

• KARAN .S

He is the Co founder and heading the Technical Services Department . He has done his B Tech from Anna University and post Graduate in in computer Applications from Loyola Institute of Business Administration(Loyola College , Chennai) .

• DHIRAJ .S

Youngest of the team with background in Management, He is the Co-founder and heads the Business Development Department.

In our endeavor to create an eco and green environment Barola Aero haslaunched Barola Fuel cell. To compliment the existing solar & windenergy solutions we are introducing the next big and a very efficientsolution in the form of "hydrogen-Fuel cell technology in India inassociation with the global Leader Horizon Fuel Cell Singapore The stateof the art Fuel cell R & D laboratory at our Chennai facility a first of itskind in India will be a fully functional certified training center and anideal platform for students to conduct their research and experiments.


Modern technical training in industry is an integral part of engineering education development, it aims at providing the technical knowledge/Skills required for an industrial operations. This type of knowledge creation for students is generated through industrial training and research.
