1. Check CPU Utilization for all servers (STO6)

Goto ST06 click on Detail Analysis Menu

Click on CPU in Previous 24 hours

Then calculate the average CPU Utilization: Idle (%)

2. DB02 (Space Overview).

First of all we need to refresh all the database statistics by clicking on Refresh

Then it will trigger a Background job REFRESH SPACE STATISTIC this job will collect all the new statistics

2.1 Archive Directory Status

In left pane Goto Jobs Backup Logs and Click on Archive Directory status

Then you will get Archive Directory Free Space:

2.2 Last Online Successful Backup

In left pane Goto Jobs DBA Logs then click on BRBACKUP

Here we need to check whether the last backup completed successfully or not, if any backup failed then we need to report T-systems.

2.3 Last Archive Log Successful Backup

In left pane Goto Jobs DBA Logs then click on BRARCHIVE

Here we need to check whether all archive backups are running and completing successfully, if any of the archive log backups are keep on failing then we need to report T-systems.

2.4 Table space Overview

In left pane Goto Space Tablespace Overview then we can see list of Tables

Here we need to check Free space, table space % usage & Auto extendable. If any of the Table usage is greater than 95% then we need to report T-system when there is no auto extendable to that particular table.

2.5 Check Data Buffer Quality

In left pane Goto Performance Performance Overview, here we can see data buffer quality in %.

2.6 & 2.8 DB logs & Alert Monitor

In left pane Goto Alerts Database Check then we can see DB logs and alert monitor

2.7 Ensure update Stats & Check DB Jobs are Running

In left pane Goto Jobs DBA Logs then click on ALL

Here we need to ensure update Stats & Check DB Jobs are running daily; if not then we need to report T-systems.

3. DB response time (OS07n)

In left pane Goto Hosts double click on DB server name and then Snapshot Disk Response Time

Here we can see SDA, SDB, SDC response times

4. Check Application servers(SM51)

Here we need to check all the CI and all app servers are running or not

5. Check Response time & Load distribution(SMLG)

Here Click on load distribution (or F5 key)

Here we can see Load of users are evenly distributed and response time of all server

6. System wide work process (SM66)

System wide work process

Here we need to check if there is any process in PRIV mode

7. Tune Summary (ST02)

Here we need to look for swaps of SAP Memory Roll area, Page area, extended memory, Heap memory.

Goto environment RFC server or Shift+F4

We need to check all the remaining servers

From the above screen you can select remaining servers.

8. Disk file operations I/O (ST04)

In left pane Goto Performance Wait Event Analysis System Event then you can find disk file operations I/O.
