How to play basketball.

In basketball you need to dribble the ball (bounce the ball), shoot the ball, and steal the ball.Also you have to rebound the ball and pass the ball (unless you are a hog and don’t pass it).

Fouls

When playing basketball if you use physical contact you get the ball taken off you and it is called a foul. Also in basketball if you foul 5 times before the game finishes you have to go off and no come back on.

NBA

The nba is the national basketball association. It is the best players in the world. There are 29 different nba teams that will play each other 2,3 or 4 times each season.

Creation

Basketball was created by a PE teacher in the 1890s. He made this game on a rainy day and refused to play other games. He originally used peach baskets as the hoops. Basketball was also used with soccer balls instead on a basketball.
