AREA HOMECOMING 2014It is that time of year again for the annual Urbandale/Level Park Area

Homecoming & Parade. This will be our 27th year anniversary. The eventwill be held on Saturday June 21, 2014 in the Urbandale Plaza 1525 W.Michigan Ave. Battle Creek, (about 3 miles west of downtown). Activitieswill start at 10:00am - 5:00pm with the parade scheduled for 11:00 am.

The Urbandale/Level Park Area Homecoming Alliance is happy toannounce that our Grand Marshall for this year is Jean Hutchinson. Citizenof the year is Clara Lynn Steeb. Congratulations go to both for committingthemselves to doing so much for the Urbandale Area Community. It isgreatly appreciated.

The Wall Family will be singing the National Anthem to begin the activi-ties. Entertainment this year will include The Wall Family: Gospel & Country;The band New Creation: Contemporary Christian; Jerry Ball: Gospel &Oldies; The Stone Hedge Band: Classic Rock including songs from theBeatles & Santana; Terry Oosterhart: Soft Rock & Folk; & Finnegan Hills:Celtic Music with Brent Cuyler & David Stuart O’Neil.

There will be grilled Steak Sandwiches for sale. Tickets will be sold forface painting, Castle Bouncer, Obstacle Course with an 18' tall slideattached. Also, there will be a Dunking Booth, a Water Ball exhibition &Raffle (you must be present to win). We will have a free kid's bike giveaway(kid's must be present to win and bikes will not be held or delivered). Therewill be Arts & Craft vendors (spaces available for $20, call Sally 963-1166)and the Lions Club will be giving free eye exams. The Army will be makingfree Dog Tags for kids who would like them. They will also have a MilitaryHumvee on display along with a video game system & foot ball toss. The

Kiwanis organization will be handing out free bike helmet's at a later date. Sally Ball, an active member of the Homecoming Committee says, “This

is a fun day for family & friends of all ages, so please come and join us forall the excitement”.
