HISTORY 2006-2007Television programmes for Secondary Schools on BBC Learning Zone

Timewatch is the BBC's flagship history programme broadcast onBBC TWO on Fridays. A new newsletter from the Timewatch team,offers a range of resources for History teachers such as clips offorthcoming programmes, suggestions for further research, andopportunities to purchase DVDs of former programmes not availableanywhere else.

The newsletter also offers behind the scenes video diaries on howthe films were made with invitations to free, exclusive screeningsand talks such as a recent opportunity to meet British agents whooperated in Nazi-Occupied France.

While Timewatch is not specifically made for school students, many of the programmes deal with core curriculum subjects, and the teamare always looking for feedback from younger viewers.
