Re: Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project Updated Guidelines for the Preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement

We write in regards to the Updated Guidelines for preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement issued April 17, 2015 (Updated EIS Guidelines).

The Updated EIS Guidelines state, at s. 18, that PMV shall include social, economic, heritage and health matters as required for an assessment pursuant to the B.C. Environmental Assessment Act in its Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

The EIS submitted by PMV to the CEAA Agency on March 27, 2015, in response to the orig inal EIS Guidelines issued January 7, 2014, is intended to meet both federal and provincial requirements. Attached is a Table of Concordance indicating where the matters set out in s. 18 of the Updated EIS Guidelines are addressed in the EIS.

We confirm that PMV is of the view that we have adequately addressed provincial socio­ic matters and that additional information in response to s. 18 of the Updated EIS es is not required.
