Dear Ms. Myles:
File: 30300-20/RBT2-05-02
Thank you for the opportunity to provide comments in relation to the completeness review of the proposed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
The British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) reviewed sections of the EIS pertaining to provincial factors identified in Section 18 (Provincial Socio-Economic Assessment) of the Updated Guidelines for the Preparation of an EIS issued April17, 2015 (Updated Guidelines).
To assist in EAO's review, EAO reviewed EIS sections listed in the table of concordance contained in the letter of April 29, 2015 from Cliff Stewart (Vice President of Infrastructure, Port Metro Vancouver) to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency confirming that the EIS adequately addresses provincial matters (see enclosed letter from Cliff Stewart).
