1. Verbal communication

2. Non verbal communication
Non-verbal communication simply refers to using bodylanguage and unspoken words to communicate, deliver, andconvey a message.

An interview is a conversation between two or more people (theinterviewer and the interviewee) where questions are asked bythe interviewer to obtain information from the interviewee..During Interview the following body language plays an importantpart:
Proper Body posture : sitting up straight in the chair : confidentconfident Sitting on the edge of the chair: nervousnervous leaning forward a little to listen to the interviewer: interest andinterest and
attentionattention
Proper Gestures
crossing your arms: defensive move.defensive move. hands loosely on the lap : comfortable with the interview process nodding the head occasionally while speaking: to give more

1. Body language provide essential clues and indications about thesuitability for the job.
2. Based on the body language, an interviewer may know whether:
you are confident or not, if you are the shy type or the friendly type, if you are a loner or a team player, or They can tell if you are capable of handling the job, if you are devoted,
or if youre someone who can get along with other employees.
Based on their questions, the interviewer will notonly pay attention to what you say, but also on how you say it.
How you can decode the body language of yourinterviewer in relation to your own body language will determine thethin line if you get that job or not.

1. Counselling is the means by which one person helps another tomake a decision about an issue and act on that decision .
2. The counselor should be aware of their posture, facialexpressions, eye contact, hand gestures, dress etc. Some keyfacts related to body language during counselling:

Counselor's and the person being counseled, their face, eyes,
hands (gestures), and posture express what is going on inside the
mind.
The body language during counselling :
1. Provides respect and sensitivity
2. freely express the real concerns.
3. Giving attention to the concern and maintain confidentiality.
Smiling, making eye contact, using open gestures, and using goodposture can bring up our level of self-confidence.
Thus it is very important for a counselor toimprove their body language.

Body language tell us a lot about a persons
personality and therefore it is very important to polish
our body language and non-verbal gestures.
Body language helps in determining the interest and
the intentions of the related parties which helps us in
coming to a conclusion.
