provincial level– Entered in Standard Course System code tables in BCeSIS – Pulled down to the district level– Standard course – diploma and credit values cannot be changed by
the district or school– Non-Standard courses – diploma and credit values can be modified

Exercise 7.1—Adding a Locally Developed Course to the District and then the School
Dawson Mountain will be offering Fashion Merchandising 11 (XFASH11), so you will need to pull it down to the district level and then pull it down to the school level. When you pull it down to the district level, add your own code of ‘D’ in the code field to represent that it has been pulled down to the district level for the training district and change the course description override to Yes. When you pull it down to the school level, select the course you just pulled down to the district level and add a code of ‘S’ in the code field to represent that it has been pulled down to the school level.

Exercise 7.2—Pull down another LD course to the School Level and assign a Co-requisite
Dawson Mountain will also be offering Fashion Design 12A (XFASHD2A). Fashion Merchandising 12B will be a co-requisite for this course. Pull down both courses to the district level and then to the school level, and make XFASHD2B a co-requisite of XFASHD2A. Remember the naming convention District add a D to the end of the course code and for school add an S to the end of the course code. Path: School > Course Information > Course Section Maintenance Now that you have pulled the Fashion Merchandising courses down to the school level, you will need to set them up in course section maintenance.
