Project Stage: Concept

INTRODUTION

The Eastin Hotel Hanoi will be located in Hanoi, Vietnam. The

approved plot of land for the hotel measures approximately

3,048 sq.m.

At Eastin hotel, the architects dare to propose a brand

new notion for the hotel and service apartments in the

middle of the city center: ‘City-Resort-Hotel’.

The two main interior design elements, which is illustrated by the

natural green space and the coziness of Northern culture, really

embellish the interior atmosphere of the project:

First element: repeated melody of the natural images: pictures of

ocean waves captured by the satellites are expressed in the art

works that are displayed at public spaces such as hotel lobbies,

corridors, carpets…

Topography with harmonious �gures of the terraced � el ds are

stylized into the patterns of hotel lobbies.

Pictures of the sky, water, rough texture of natural stones and

vegetation are delicately utilized into lamp details or decoration.

Second Element: Local hand-made products such as rattan,

bamboo… of the traditional villages: ingeniously produced

with friendly material, all the products would make a warm

harmonious overall that helps make Eastin Hotel an impressive

one in the standards of luxury Hotel and Service Apartment in

Hanoi region.

The interior design intent needs to �ow w ith t he o verall d esign

approach of creating a distinctive, modern luxury and innovative

in all areas. It is envisaged that the design will

take advantage of the orientation of the building to optimize the

presence of natural

lighting wherever possible. There must be a conscious e�ort to

limit the undesirable

impact of wind and noise. This would creatively combine

aesthetics with practicality in

terms of usage for social catering.

Eastin Hotel Residences known as a perfect stop for business or

leisure trips, the Eastin Hotel and luxury Service Apartment chain

would bring customers the best facilities and service, which earn

the slogan of “value for all needs.”

EVALUATION CRITERIA #1: SPATIAL DESIGN

Throughout the main idea City Resort hotel, the spaces of the hotel has been architects care very special idea, to both create fresh and cozy for the customer.

The �nishing material selected for �ooring is a natural rattan marble material, keeping the characteristic vein of natural stone, tiled with 30 degree angle, simulating the circuits of natural stone layers, deep in the heart of the mountain. In the large spatial surface, which appears naturally on soft natural brown rocks, is a division of the smaller functionalities for the lobby lounge area: the waiting area, the reception area check in, bar area, small co�ee. snack bar, internet desk and spiral staircases.

The main colors are the warm tones of the golden tone, mixed with the Prussian Blue tone, this is a trendy interior colors tone, the distinctive material from Asia. The large space is divided into areas with di�erent seating styles, sofas, sofa sets, double tables, four dining tables, catering to every customer choice. Customers can have breakfast, drink a cup of co�ee, and combine work with partners.

The carpet is selected with Prussian Blue parten to simulate ocean waves when viewed from above. The illuminated headlamps are inspired by the rattan slabs of natural stone, soft and rhythmic.

EVALUATION CRITERIA #2: COMFORTThe hotel‘s rooms are most attentive to politeness, privacy, and noise reduction. It is a combination of indirect lighting on the ceiling, carpets, waves on the sea.

The outlet will be on located adjacent to the swimming pool and the outdoor lounge area. Kitchen is located at the back of the bar will be serving all kind of beverages to the outlet as well as the pool and lounge area.Furniture will be of groups of 2-6, feature with a large communal table that allow guests to relax and socialized with others.

Bar seating facing the outside view and some lounging chairs will be provided in the outdoor area, utilizing the tree shades as a canopy during the day. A few pergolas for a large group are provided at corner for more privacy.

EVALUATION CRITERIA #3: AESTHETICS

Throughout the inspiration from the images of nature and from the close images of the Northern Delta villages, to create space for hotel rooms and condotel, the architects have created In a friendly space close to nature, but still maintain the comfort of meeting the requirements of hotel rooms.

Brown gold tone is used as the main color tone for the room of the hotel, Tone color that appears exquisite by the use of warm material of wood �ooring, wood material used to create furniture. This does not a�ect the elegance of the international hotel, as we use copper metal bracelet detail. The selection of works of art for this space is the ingenuity of taking the semi-abstract images of the deep blue sea viewed from above.

The main attention will be given to the large, fascinating painting which inspired by the local heritage. This could be incorporated into the wall gra�ti or graphic pattern used in the outlet. A traditional-style pendants in bold color which would create a great impact to customer when entering the space.

EVALUATION CRITERIA #4: INNOVATION

An overall picture of harmony is appreciated by the expensive details: These are the details of the furniture are intelligently designed by the architects, full of utilities in accordance with the standards of the International hotel. Small details such as the wall array ideas from the rice, CNC cutting is very sophisticated.

Staying up to the idea of “City_resort_hotel“: The overall harmony between standard design, elegant aesthetic material, exquisite artwork, hotel space and condoltell of Eastin Hotel, promises to give customers an unforgettable experience.

EVALUATION CRITERIA #5: REALISATION EFFICIENCYThe overall atmosphere should bring a fun, vibrant vibe. The outlet by encouraging the combination of modern design elements with a twist of eastern and western re�ecting through the bold colors, pattern, graphic and decoration.

The design should evoke the sense of freshness, variety, and liveliness of the market place through a combination of a modern design elements with a twist of traditional, but simpli�ed, artifacts.

As a main dining outlet, it is a must for the surfaces to be durable for heavy tra�c use with the least maintenance. Stone and homogenous tiles are the most suitable option for �ooring where food display and bar are located considering their durability and water/stain absorption level. The dining area could be of concrete, wood, or even carpet to achieve the desired look & feel while maintaining the practicality in operation.
