COURSE DESCRIPTIONAn overview of the contents of the Old Testament. The principal themes and outstanding features of each book as well as its relation to the other books of the Old Testament will be studied.

LECTURER

Dr Jacqueline Grey is an Ordained Minister of the Australian Christian Churches (formerly known as The Assemblies of God in Australia). She was the Academic Dean of Alphacrucis College, Australia and

now serves part-time as the Associate Professor of Biblical

Studies. A prolific author, she has written books, contributed to book chapters and journals in the study of Old Testament studies particularly on Isaiah, Pentecostalism, Biblical Ethics, and Women ministry.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONThis course will provide an experiential opportunity to learn practical ways of incorporating the expressive arts in trauma care. The modalities we will explore include visual art, creative movement, word play, clay, collage journaling and more. We will discuss how these powerful tools have the potential to facilitate wholistic healing, permeate cultural barriers, and empower clients towards their therapeutic goals. No prior experience in any of the expressive arts required!

LECTURERSMs Sarah Imogene Burton holds a

bachelors degree in social welfare and psychology from the USA with a graduate diploma in counseling from Singapore. Sarah specializes in using

expressive and creative arts in facilitating holistic healing from past trauma. She is

the founder and director of Arise International, a non-profit that partners with existing organizations who work with trauma. Sarah has worked in South and Southeast Asia regions and is passionate about seeing trauma care contextualized for SE Asian cultures.

Mr Jake Burton has a ministry and theology education background. He is also the founder of a non-profit that seeks to address the issue of shame

surrounding cases of unplanned pregnancy and abortion.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONIn this unit student will develop an understanding of the development of spiritual companionship within their practice as well as in a pastoral context. The central theme to this unit will be formation. That’s forming oneself as a ‘companion’ to the significant others as well as being ‘a seeker’ themselves. Skills in awareness, listening, discerning and understanding dark nights of the soul will be explored. A particular interest in this unit is to learn 'the art to attending' to the spiritual matters, in particular the different stages of their faith journey with God

LECTURERProf Rebecca Chong holds a Bachelor in

Ministry, and a Post-Grad in Social Science (Counseling). She is actively involved with counseling, teaching, and as a speaker in workshops and seminars with various groups and organization s in Australia as well as in different countries in South East

Asia. She is an excellent communicator and gifted counselor. Her areas of interest

are relationships, male/female issues, crisis counseling, mid-life journey, and training leaders in ‘journeying’ with each other.

课程简介我们很多时候穿梭于受苦的人群之中，聆听别人的说话，专注他人的感受──我们被称为“牧养关顾者”。良好的倾听能力以及有见识性的提问是有效地服事受创伤的人之重要基础。学生将有机会亲身实践辅导技巧，这将帮助学生们超越一般日常与人互动的关系。学生将学习如何营造一个安全以及有爱心的环境，让人可以分享他们的创历并陪同他们渡过个人的难题。此课程包括辅导技巧，认识情绪病及危机个案处理等。透过本课程加深学生了解情绪病的特征及加强危机个案处理的应对技巧和能力。

tahun 2001 sehingga 2007). Beliau juga mengajar di Malaysia Tamil Bible

KETERANGAN KURSUSKursus ini memberikan perspektif Alkitab dalam memahami akar punca masalah manusia. Kajian kes akan digunakan untuk meneroka cara-cara untuk membantu orang Kristian bertumbuh dalam kematangan iman mereka semasa mengatasi kesukaran dan masalah. Ini bukan hanya langkah rancangan tetapi merupakan strategi alkitabiah untuk membantu dan memberi kaunseling kepada mereka yang mempunyai masalah - masalah individu yang tidak diselesaikan.

Rev Jeremiah Kong yang berasal dari Kajang, Selangor telah mendapatkan pendidikan teologi di

BCM pada tahun 1994. Beliau adalah Gembala Senior di Praise Community

Church yang di rintis oleh beliau pada tahun 2003 di Seri Kembangan. Pada tahun 2010 beliau dipilih di Mesyuarat Tahunan Assemblies of God sebagai Penyelia Bahagian Bahasa Malaysia sehingga tahun 2014. Sudah berkahwin dengan Wong Me Ngo dan diberkati Tuhan dengan tiga orang anak. Mereka sekeluarga sangat aktif melayani Tuhan di gereja-gereja tempatan.
